2025 Class Hours are 7AM-5PM M-F (Lunch Break from 12PM-12:45PM (CT)) and smaller breaks throughout the day.
The North American Flight Control online dispatch training program is 5 weeks long. 2 of the 5 weeks is live online. The remaining 3 weeks are in person at our campus in Minneapolis, MN.
The significance of the online programs live instruction method is that it provides flexibility to you, the student, to minimize hotel costs/time away and still ensures you the same quality of instruction as our in-person students. It also provides you direct access to our instructors to ensure your success.
There are a lot of online aviation courses offering online flight dispatch training. As you evaluate your options, one thing to consider is what type of learning style you have? Online Flight Dispatch training is not for everyone. Only you know the answer.
It's also important to note that the FAA prohibits any aircraft dispatch school from offering a 100% online dispatch training program.

Things To Consider About the Online Aircraft Dispatcher Training Program you select!
The online aircraft dispatcher training program at North American Flight Control is provided via live content (teaching). This is an important element considering there is a lot of technical knowledge you'll be learning.
Some schools are providing you with online text that you read with no online live teaching. Additionally, some programs have you show up in person for just 1 week and then you graduate.
While convenience is nice, don't waste your valuable investment in yourself by rushing through a program with little support. When you graduate, you want to be properly prepared to not just pass a test but be ready for interviews and be a competent and confident FAA Certificated Aircraft Dispatcher.
Aircraft Dispatch Knowledge Test Requirements
Be at least 21 years old to take and pass the Aircraft Dispatcher Knowledge Test (ADX Written Exam).
Successfully Pass the Aircraft Dispatch Practical Exam with an FAA Aircraft Dispatch Inspector or Designated Aircraft Dispatch Examiner (DADE).
